Koala Interview
1. What habitats are threatened in Australia or other countries? expansion of human activities in woodland areas where Euclyptus trees grow, which is where koalas live. Koalas live up and down the east coast of Australia. this is where majority of the people in Australia live.
2. What do you know about it?
National parks help to protect the habitat of the koala. some people can volenteerly, which is called conservation agreements. it's protect for conservation values.
3. What is being done to help?
There is some urban developments where people restrict keeping dogs, in these areas because are a big threat to koalas when they are on the ground. these areas include: Port Stevens, north of Newcastle and south of Brisbane, in these areas are limits to what animals you can have on your property.
4. What can you do to help?
In wildlife world they have a group of 15 koalas and at the moment they have 4 pouch koalas. they can spread awareness of the fight of koalas being a threatened species and courage people to support the conservation actions.
5. What can other people do to help?
conservation is a ethical issue and people can support conservation of wildlife. and the more people we can get to support the conservation of wildlife the more animals we can save. and then the end of threatened species.

Australia has the worst rate of extinction of wildlife of any country in the world. we have a especially lost a lot of our mammals and birds. and it is a trend that is still continuing. and if we don't protect our habitat it will only get worse.

it lives in south Australia and far Western NSW. it is largely in arid areas and dry areas. and there are photo factors by against dogs and also the competition for food in rock cliffs with goats and other freaks animals.
2. What do you know about it?
They are very agile in rocky out crops. they are not like most carnivores you see on flat ground. they live on rocky slopes.
3. What is being done to help?
it is being protected by legislation in both south Australia's and nsw. they live in national parks. so there had been dedicated land to conserve the animal. the other important thing is to reduce the pact of feral animals. this includes reduce the impact of foxes.
4. What can you do to help?
They display the animal at the park and part of that is to create an awareness that it exists. furthermore this helps to create awareness for the animal and will create community support.
